Profile of our baby girl at 32 weeks - isn't she lovely?
I had my 34 week appointment with my OB yesterday, and we scheduled the c-section for May 4th. I had the boys with me for this appointment (forgot when I set it up that this is spring break week), and they got to hear baby sister's heartbeat. It was very sweet.
I really like my OB practice. It's all female doctors, which is nice. My appointment yesterday was with my preferred doctor (she delivered Danny), so I wanted to make sure I could schedule the delivery with her.
Anyway, we set the date for May 4th, a Wednesday. I texted Brandon after we left to let him know, and suddenly I felt this wave of fear! Only 5 weeks left. The baby's room isn't ready at all. And am I ready to have three kids? Yikes. I felt the tears welling up as I thought about all the changes that are about to take place...
Unbeknownst to me at the time, apparently May 4th is Star Wars Day... as in, "May the Fourth be with you." Somehow, given the level of Star Wars appreciation in our home, that just seems right.

Yipee, it's just around the corner! I feel the same way - lots still left to do. But, you know, the baby will do just fine as long as she has somewhere to sleep and milk to drink. She won't really care if her room is not quite ready. :)
So close now! I can't wait til she arrives for you! So exciting. May the nesting begin full force now. Get those star wars boys and their "force" to help with the babies room if they can!
That's my birthday! It's a great day to be born on. Congrats on the baby girl. That is very exciting.
You'll do great, three is an adjustment, which it should be, but you'll figure it out! What a sweet little blessing-she's beautiful!
"May the fourth be with you", LOL!
That is a really good shot of her profile! She really does look beautiful.
