Hummingbirds Soccer

 Daniel told me at the beginning of the year that he wanted to play soccer "on a team" this year.  Well, this summer, he was finally old enough for a soccer program!  I signed him up for a short 8 week co-ed instructional program.  The kids would practice for 45 minute or so, and then the last 15 minutes they would play a little scrimmage.  The team was called the Hummingbirds!

Daniel love it.  He was so excited about his shin guards and soccer shorts.  And best of all, at the conclusion of the program, everyone got a TROPHY.  Or, as Danny would say, a "troll-fy."

He was so proud.  It was fun watching him learn something new and give it his all.  He loved scoring goals and learning how to play.  In fact, this fall, he's playing on a S.A.Y. soccer team - the Bumblebees!  There are more pictures to follow, I'm sure.  But for now, here's Danny with his troll-fy.
